About

Unsuper

Unsuper is a web-comic created by Pete Labrozzi. The story surrounds a couple of ordinary New Yorkers who through very unlikely circumstances, acquire superpowers.

The idea for Unsuper was originally thought up by Pete and Angie Labrozzi while they were visiting Dallas Texas. The idea started from bouncing ideas and dumb sayings off one another acting as superheroes who were clearly not only bad at being said heroes, but who were idiots in general. The discussion lasted a few hours with endless laughter and emerged as an idea for a “Tom Goes to the Mayor -like” animation that would run in 3-5 minute segments. Tons of characters both good and evil emerged, each uniquely odd.

It was slated to start work in January of 2007, but timing became an issue, and it never got started. Unsuper was in the back of Pete’s mind ever since, and recently it was decided to again pick up Unsuper, but return it to the new-age version of its general roots — a web-based comic book.
